How to Use Flash eBooks:

ALL DIGITAL LIBRARY BOOKS ARE IN Flash eBook Format.

Deedahwar Urdu Literary Magazine

(IMPORTANT) The eBook will open in a full screen mood with no TOP Bar of the browser.  To close the eBook Window, point your mouse to the top edge of your monitor screen, the hidden top bar of the browser will reappear. You can hit F11 Key to use Full-screen mood a second time F11 key for getting out of Full-screen mood.

1) Click on edges of the page to flip pages of the book or use curved arrows in Control Panel at the bottom of the eBook page. You can also type a page number between two curved arrows in the Control Panel.  (You may have to scroll down to see Control Panel)

2) Triangle icon is for turning on Auto flipping

3) Book icon is for downloading PDF (IF AVAILABLE otherwise it returns Error 404 NOT FOUND.)  Usually, the PDF is available only for Deedahwar magazine.

4)  Lens icons are to Zoom in or out left or right page. You can also Zoom in by clicking on the page, and scroll, zoomed page, to right, left, up and down by moving mouse WITHOUT CLICKING.  There are two lens icons for zooming right or left pages, respectively.

5) Click on Zoomed page to get out of the Zoomed page.

6) Printer icon is for printing the page on your printer.  There are two printer icons for printing left or right pages, respectively.

7)  The assembled cubes icon is for viewing Thumbnails.

Following Instructions are for FlipWiever installation only.  Only First Issue of Deedahwar needs it.  We now use Flash Player based eBooks which does NOT requires viewer installation.  Please ignore following instructions if you are not reading Deedahwar First Issue eBook version,

FireFox and Netscape users please read the instructions at the bottom of the page first. FireFox requires manual download and installation of FlipViewer.

INSTRUCTIONS (Internet Explorer): (Please read first)

1)  After you click on the Deedahwar Book icon on previous page or Choose "دیدہ ور (eBook)" from Menu, you will see a yellow bar at the top of your Browser Window, with a message, "This site is attempting to Install FlipViewer from eBook Systems."

2)  Click on the yellow bar and choose "allow"

3) You will be prompted by a dialog box with options, "Install" or "Cancel"

4) Choose "Install."  This step will download and install FlipViewer from eBook Systems Inc.  (The installation of FlipViewer to read eBooks is one time process. You will not need to install FlipViewer each time you visit Deedahwar.NET)

5) The eBook version of Deedahwar will open. It will have several icons at the top of eBook, i.e. + for magnify, - for zoom out, printer sign for printing selected page or entire magazine, Bookshelf icons for book-marking pages or chapters.

6) Due to software limitations the "Contents" page is in Roman Script. Each line in the "Contents" page is clickable to go directly to that page or chapter.

7) Clicking Right mouse button, anywhere on the eBook, will give a pop-up menu with Flip-to, Windows frame and many more options.

8) You can use mouse to click on page to flip. The Mouse Wheel also works for flipping the pages.

INSTRUCTIONS for FireFox and Mozilla Users:

Netscape, FireFox, Mozilla, Opera, NeoPlanet and other non-IE browsers
1) If you have not installed FlipViewer®, click here to download FlipViewer® and install it.
2) After installing FlipViewer®, please launch the FlipViewer® from Start menu (Start-->E-Book Systems --> FlipViewer)
3) Copy the FlipBook URL below and paste it onto the "address bar" of FlipViewer®, NOT of  your browser
